Trainee Administrator Full Time

Established for over 45 years and now one of the North West’s leading multi award winning Engineering companies WEC Group Ltd are looking to recruit a Trainee Sales Administrator to work within our Engineering division based at our Head Office in Darwen.

Working within industries such as Nuclear, Rail, Defence, Chemical Treatments, Storage Vessels and Pressure Vessels, you will be dealing with a multitude of customers ranging from individual traders & SME’s, right up to nationally recognised blue-chip companies.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer sales orders
• Collating information for Sales Engineers
• Logging and monitoring incoming enquiries
• Answering and filtering incoming calls
• Liaising with customers to update on quotes and orders
• Data collection and data input
• Support purchasing with raising purchase orders
• Liaising with team leaders, supervisors and managers to ensure correct data is input into the system
• Completing estimates and following up with customers to secure orders
• Filing, photocopying, scanning

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Interested in Engineering & Sales
• Have 5+ GCSE’s or equivalent
• Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with both suppliers and customers
• Fully computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
