Project Engineer – WEC CCTV Full Time

Location: Darwen, Lancashire
Salary: Up to £35k DOE
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities

Essential:

• Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings noting this will form part of the interview process
• Good all-round engineering and fabrication background
• Preparing, schedule and monitoring assigned engineering projects
• Generating Autocad manufacturing drawings for customer approval
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise closely with key account clients over multiple projects
• Manage the projects from initial enquiry to completion
• Knowledge of all welding methods and techniques
• Full driving licence

Desirable:

• CPCS and/or CSCS accreditation
• Previously worked within the security industry
• IPAF accreditation

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD
• Proven engineering and fabrication knowledge/experience
• Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise closely with customers
• Ability to work under pressure, both on own initiative and as part of a busy team
• Ability to handle multiple varied projects from order through to completion
• Responsible, conscientious, punctual, highly organized, and self-motivated

Desirable:

• Knowledge of all welding techniques
• Full diving license
• CPCS and/or CSCS accreditation
