Sales Estimator – Laser Profiles

Salary £40,000 plus Sales bonus

Based: Darwen Lancashire

Privately owned Laser Profiles is part of WEC Group who have provided fabrication, laser cutting, precision engineering, waterjet/plasma cutting, powder coating, heavy machining and CCTV mounting solutions for over 45 years.

Due to internal progression, we are now offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven Sales Estimator to join our rapidly expanding Estimating team within our Laser Profiles division based from our head office in Darwen

Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate cost estimates from technical drawings.
• Create labour/material costings and routing information.
• Liaise with suppliers and manage sub-contract requirements.
• Prepare and input full quotations for customers.
• Handle enquiries, provide technical support, and resolve queries.
• Work closely with internal teams to keep projects on track.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to have technical discussions and sell Laser Profiles capabilities.
• Working knowledge of laser cutting, fabrication and subcontract manufacturing.
• Understand RFQs and technical drawings, providing practical design guidance.
• Experience in sales, business development, and account management.
• Read fabrication drawings and complete complex quotations accurately.

Hours of work:

Week 1 Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm

Week 2 Mon- Thurs 8-5 Friday 1pm
