Logistic Coordinator Full Time

Established for over 45 years and now one of the North West’s leading and multi award winning Engineering companies, The WEC Group Ltd is looking to recruit a motivated and well-presented to join our busy and expanding HTA Division based in Coventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Co-Ordinator, to work within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an additional, skilled, logistics Co-ordinator to join our team. Previous experience of warehouse and stock control would be highly advantageous.

Must have ability to understand stock levels and proactively progress chase components throughout the business to meet customer needs.

You will be working in a fast-paced goods in / goods out area with adaptability becoming key in logistics.

Skills& Knowledge

• Forklift certificate.
• Goods in and out – follow goods in and out procedures, update computer systems to show live inventory stock.
• Critical thinking – use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weakness of processes to streamline movements.
• Production and processing – knowledge of raw materials, logistics processes, stock controlling to reduce costs and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of logistics.
• Computer systems – have a good understanding of Microsoft Office

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm.
