Project Engineer – Sherburn Metalwork Full Time

This is an exciting and varied role offering the opportunity to work with a diverse customer base across multiple industries. At Sherburn Metalwork, you will play a key part in delivering prestigious and high-profile engineering projects, working within a fast-paced and forward-thinking manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the management team to plan, budget, and control activities related to new and existing projects.
• Create, manage and populate the Project Folders including BOMs, Visual Aids, Care Points, Route Cards.
• Facilitate the introduction of new products by considering cost, quality, and delivery factors.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to coordinate all aspects of project deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Monitor and update the Production Planner, making sure parts flowing through the business are accurately recorded to support the daily production meeting.
• Demonstrate strong time management and proactivity, understanding the importance of meeting deadlines and anticipating potential challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Project Engineering role, preferably within the manufacturing/fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of lean engineering principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
