Hours: Week 1: Mon–Fri 8am–5pm • Week 2: Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–1pm

Due to ongoing expansion, we are now offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven Project Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Project Engineer to support our CNC Machining Division. This role is responsible for managing engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design, manufacturing, and operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute CNC machining projects from initial concept to final delivery.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Develop machining processes, tooling strategies, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers, machinists, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to machining, tooling, and materials.
• Support process optimisation initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Assist in the introduction of new products and technologies into the CNC division.

Required Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

• Experience in CNC machining, manufacturing, or precision engineering.
• Strong understanding of machining processes (milling, turning, multi-axis machining).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines (3, 4, and 5-axis)
