NDT Inspector – Fabrication Full Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to join our team at our Darwen location.

As an NDT Inspector here, you will be an integral part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve conducting various non-destructive tests on materials and components, ensuring the reliability and integrity of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct non-destructive tests, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant inspections
• Interpret and analyse test results, providing insights into the quality and integrity of materials or structures
• Collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to address and resolve identified issues
• Perform visual inspections and accurately document findings
• Perform dimensional inspections of Fabrications.
• Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and WEC Group policies
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability
• Generate detailed reports outlining inspection findings and providing recommendations

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as an NDT Inspector PCN/CSWIP
• Certification in relevant NDT methods (e.g., ASNT Level II or III) is mandatory.
• Proficient in interpreting codes, standards, and specifications related to NDT within the Welding
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
